I'm looking at different possibilities to serve in the 75th Ranger Reg.
1. I could enlist after high school 11B option 40, pass all the schools and become a Ranger. I think this way would be the easiest.
2. Or I could do ROTC in college, branch infantry, serve a couple years with a unit, then apply to ROP and hopefully get accepted and pass.
I think # 1 would be the easiest way to become a Ranger and would give me more time to serve in the 75th, however I would not have a college degree and would be making less money. # 2 would be harder and would give me less time to serve with the 75th, however I would be an officer and have my college degree.
What would you recommend?
