I do defend my opinions, I just write them as they come, not in so much detail, but in quantity. But if I were to post another, I'd be viciously attacked once again, so there really is no point.

No you were ridiculed for crying & being abusive towarRAB people whenever they disagreed with you. There is no hierarchy , we've had plenty of people join recently who are respected because they post their opinions in a calm and thoughtful way.

If you go around calling people idiots or retarRAB all the time like you did then you are going to get shit from people. We told you this at the time and you chose to ignore it. Hopefully you have learned from that now.

And I was new here myself when I posted that top 100 so thats your theory out of the window. And I want my opinions to be attacked & questioned. If everybody agreed with me I would have left ages ago from sheer boredom.

The term classic will be used loosely.
These are 5 songs I've loved for a long time or have recently found and just like them in general and are from as late as the 1990's and as early as 1960's.

#1 Power of Love:
YouTube - Huey Lewis & the News - The Power of Love (6 minute ver.)
#2 Surfin' Bird.
YouTube - The Trashmen : Surfin' Bird ( 1963 )
#3 Johnny B Goode
YouTube - Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode
#4 Voodoo Chile
#5 Girls on Film
YouTube - Duran Duran - Girls On Film

Post your thoughts and comments, they're usually negative so I hold no hopes. Just thought I'd post this as I've meant to post my favourate classic rock / pop / 80's songs list for a while.

I've only heard Voodoo Chile and that song, and I think the first one definitely belongs on classic song lists. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me what was so great about Johnny B. Goode, perhaps the guy with Chuck Berry in his avatar (don't remeraber his name).

I've always wondered what was so great about Johnny B. Goode. It seems like any rock n' roll song of 50's/early 60's with a little more guitar wankery.

And it is these kind of comments that lead to me to believe your little click is just that. This individual is rather good with the owners / higher ups of this forum, and thusly, will not recieve a warning or punishment of any kind for his insult. I however, will most likely for speaking up against it.

Lucifer sam, please do not call fellow merabers 'Twats'. Misguided, narrow minded, mis-informed and predictable-yes, but 'twats' is a little OTT.
