As much as I love that scene, I agree that it didn't fit in the context of the episode which is probably why they cut it out.
In the deleted scene you have Tyler asking Caroline why she didn't want to be with Matt, and it seems like she's encouraging him to get back with him, which doesn't fit with the kiss and Tyler's newfound "appreciation" for Caroline.
I think it would have felt a bit disjointed to leave it in. I mean, I LOVE it, and it was super awesome and sweet, but it would have been weird for them to go from that conversation in the parking lot, and then his two second blip with Jules, and then go back to Caroline's house, and then once again, with Jules.
It was still a sweet scene though and I hope we get some kind of re-do of it this season.

Aw, no. No pushing away! I don't think Caroline will let him push her away. I think they'll have issues regarding the full moon, but in the end, he'll relent and let her stay.
They're going to enough enough external forces pushing them apart that I think they're going to need to hold onto each other, and need each other way too much for that to happen.
I agree. We know how Tyler feels and it's not just friendly feelings. If they were already FWB, then maybe I could buy a jealousy angle, but they're not. And FWB implies non-feelings, no-strings attached.
I can't see Caroline, Queen of Romance and True Love, being all, "Hey, let's just do it whenever we feel like it."
True, Caroline has had lovers in the past, but she didn't want FWB with Matt, and her other interactions with guys have proved that she didn't just want a one night thing. I don't think she ever has. Just because she enjoys sex doesn't mean she wants sex without committment.

I could just be going insane over analyzing all the stuff we´ve gotten so far :lol: I think we´ve been lucky with spoilers tbh so far we´ve gotten some really good stuff etc.
