Beats by dre studios question -.- ...?

well i bought them after 3 months . I was so sceptik whether i should buy them after all or not . I viewed over 20 reviews many of them said great things about those headphones and a few (not experts just normal buyers) said they are mediocre and far from being "high end" . Ok my question is , i was expecting so much fromt heese headphones, im a huuuuge dr dre fan too , i always was. When i tried them i was like... heh?? am i doing something wrong? first of all i bought them from amazon , its an verified dealer they are NOT fakes. Anyway i give them for sound a 6-10 there is no big difference between the studios(270$) and my sennheiser cx 300 II (50$) . I checked the batteries i checked the cable everything is ok i mean i cant be so stupid its not my fault , and my audio files are not mp3's i imported them from my cd's . and i listen 95% to hip hop Dr Dre that is... where you can assume those headphones will score. But ok like i said i give them a 6-10 for sound but they look incredible good , better than in the fotos , the noise isolation is.. meh.. but its doing its job , for looks a 11-10 , for the isolation a 5-10 and for the features a 10-10.

sorry guys sorry my Question is .. Ive heard somewhere that (not only these headphones) i should them play for a while so they can "open" i need to use them for a while and they say there is a difference in the sound quality . (Like an car/motorbike engine ,when they are new,, where you should do at least 1000 miles before accelerating at top speed .
Is that true? or are the beats just an incredible marketing product?
