So, we got a new beagle puppy in the house, hes about month and half old, hes healthy playful etc, except...
A.- For some unknown reason he bits us, like we are playing and stuff then he turns his head and bits either a finger or my hand then he continues playing, and then he just licks my hand, it also happens when we are just patting him, hes all calm and suddenly, he try to bit us, he licks my face all over and then tries to bit my nose!

B.- he whines all day and all night, non stop.
He whines then look at me or my mom or dad as if he were asking for attention, there, we give him attention but he STILL whines, even when he plays with us he whines, when we are there he whines, when we are NOT there he whines, he whines when you carry him, whines when you put him down... its making me loose my head
Any response will be helpful
Thanks in advance
Mind my bad english

A you might not be strict enough. Try to remember dogs play using their teeth, it's all they know and he may be trying to tell you what he doesn't like or he may be overexcited. This biting will get worse if allowed to continue. I suggest you firmly grab his muzzle look him dead in the eye (very important) and yell NO! Be firm it's a dog, the tone is more important than the words. Be consistent in your training habits otherwise he may not get the message. Another sterner measure is the throat method that dogs themselves use they grab the offender by the throat (without pressure you don't want to choke, just grasp, be sure not to squeeze but don't let go) and pin the dog on his back and again YELL (Don't ask, beg, Don't be nice Yell) NO! this method is usually faster but seems too harsh for some. Remember that the object is not to hurt the dog but to let it know that you are in charge and will not tolerate being hurt by him. He probably snatches food and takes a little bit of finger too huh? if so hold him by the throat (again no choking) and slow him down. Your dog sounds high spirited and needs a firm (not abusive) hand.
B the whining. All I can say is that most dogs get over it as long as you give in he'll keep doing it. Sucks huh? to make matters worse beagles bay allot and if you think that whining is annoying wait till he starts howling they are good dogs but have some annoying traits good luck

1) biting, nipping is just part of his playing.

2) The pup is only six weeks old.He shouldn't even be taken from his mommie til around 8 - 10 weeks, the whining is it just looking for the warmth, nurture, attention, and nipples of its mommie. It probably is having belly cramps from it's diet change.
Spoil it, wrap it in a blanket and hold it, rub it and love it. I hope wou have a good mother's doggie milk substitute for the puppy, it's too young for reg food yet as a complete diet. Good luck.
