OK. I've had a close call of sorts because there's only five or six feet between my HDTV and couch. Let's just say the Wiimote came too close to the screen while I was bowling with friends. I've also smacked the Wiimote on my futons wooden post while playing tennis. YIKES. It's a good thing my backhand wasn't that strong.

Luckily it was mostly the side of the controller

I came incredibly close to losing the wiimote on a forehand in tennis today
