BBQ Chicken HELP I'm cooking Now?

I put the chicken in the oven after seasoning it. Halfway through cooking I added Jack Daniels bbq sauce. It got kinda watery even though I drained before adding bbq. How can I get the sauce thick again. I was thinking about placing it in the refriegerator then continuing to cook after refrigerating to get the sauce thick. What am I to do ?
 
Separate chicken from the sauce. Put sauce in saucepan. Bring to boil and let the steam evaporate the excess liquid. It might take 1/2 hr. Then add some sauce again and heat. Serve over the chicken.
