BBHub.com reports user unhappy with Tmobile "MyFaves" compatibility

T-Mobile's new myFaves plans specify free calling in between T-Mobile subscribers and five phone numbers they designate. Five phone numbers on any network, not just T-Mobile. The plans are being promoted in conjunction with most T-Mobile handsets, including the T-Mobile BlackBerry Pearl 8100.

Yet when BBHub reader and BlackBerry Pearl purchaser Chris from Alabama tried to sign his family up as myFaves participants, he was in for one of those fine-print rude awakenings that show that when it comes to conflicting messages between large-print marketing come-ons and the fine-print, that the fine print always rules.

Sounds like he REALLY needed to read the fine print, huh?
What a shame if what Pentace claims is true, which I believe it is.
 
Pentace, if you don't have the app on your BB, will you still get the free calls. The way I read the announcement you had to have a phone that had the app to get the service.

I don't use TMO, but was curious about this service.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ no matter what you can always get the myfave plan, just today I added myfaves to an account with two of the three phones myfave compatable
