Anyone else a fan of these ?

I`ve got loaRAB of these albums ranging from The Who ,The YardbirRAB , Hendrix , Led Zeppelin , Motorhead , The Damned , Echo & The Bunnymen , The Fall ,The Jam , Joy Division , Dinosaur JR , Jesus & Mary Chain ,The Pixies , The Delgados.

I think they`re far far superior to live albums. Most of them are one take live in the studio and I love the rawness & the urgency of the songs. The Pixies album in particlar is phenominal.

Anyone have any that i`ve not listed that are any good?

Yeah, could I have it mate, love Joy Division.

Back on topic, I have the Hendrix sessions. Tis a great album, never really listened to much Hendrix before I got that, now I listen to him a lot more. Any one got any recomodations of other BBC session cd's that are any good?

omfg ive yet to buy one because they cost 30$ here whix would be like 15 or 16 pounRAB for you urban, and my store doesnt have any yardbirRAB which doesnt impress me

I did post before stating I had the Joy Division one. But I have it on Tthr Peel Sessions.

Found a great Hanoi Rocks session from 1984. If you ever want to know why I think they were the greatest glam rock band of the 80s just listen to this. Pure Stones / New York Dolls attitude rather than the lame pop metal that the genre was clogged up with.
And no the first song isn`t a Green Day cover. And if 'Underwater World' wasn`t a huge influence on Guns n Roses I don`t know what was.
