The 8120 is the next geeration Pearl. Same form factor with several upgrades such as wifi, OS, a little different keypad layout, and a few others. With the current Pearl it cannot happen.

The only BB currenly enabled for Hotspot at home (soon to be renamed to something I cannot say) Is the Curve.. There are a few more devices coming, including the new pearl spoken of above.

does anyone happen to know when the new pearl is going to come to tmo? i dont want to go ahead and get the 8100 and have the new pearl, the 8120 come out after i get the 8100...

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~the curve is not being renamed, the hot spot at home service is.. I cannot divulge launch dates of new devices as of yet. Consider reviewing phonescoop.com to verify fcc approval dates which are a good indication. Ill tell you this, its not gonna be in Q1.
