BB 9700 vs Palm Pre....

I have my choices narrowed down to the following, Black Berry 9700 and a Palm Pre on Bell. I'm wondering if the "non fun" factor of the BB will outweigh the possible "software/construction issues" with the Pre (atleast the early version. I actually thought I had decided on the Pre until I checked out precentral.net and noticed that several members on that forum were on their 3rd or 4th replacement Pre.

I'm mainly interested in useful apps, wifi, texting (I have a couple friends with BB's, so the BB messenger may come in handy) and browsing. Email on my phone isn't a huge priority but I guess it would be nice to have.

What do you guys think between these 2 phones? Thanks.
 
If you want useful apps and browsing, that's gonna push you hard towards WebOS.

I'd say if you wanted email, BB OS would have it there, but if its not(as you said), that removes a positive from the BB 9700 side.
