BB 9000 red blink dead...done

i received the phone like this



I open my BB Desktop manager to fix the phone but it stops in this point....


I tried to get help...but nobody response.....so I just try to charge the battery 1st in a desktop charger for 6 hrs. before flashing

procedure:
1. Download firmware for the said unit based also its original carrier
2. Install the firmware

3. Connect the phone and it will be detected by your computer
4. open BB Desktop manager

5. click application manager and click update software

6.Click next

7.wait until its finish

thnks for ur share,but it seems yours was connecting to pc.that why u managed to restore.hv mine that just went off when playing mp3 and from then red bling.it caanot conet to pc.hv tried almost every thing read on forums but no luck.anybody with any idea?

normally red light blinking getting in hardware,
i thnk so the members did not response ..................
 
to remove the flash ic in blackberry phones is very risky ....................

the chance to work the removed ic is very low.............
