Battle Royale - TV airing

'Battle Royale' is what what 'The Running Man' should have been like, instead of the Arnie formulaic rubbish it became.
They should bring in the BR act for chavs.

Hasnt Battle Royale already been on terrestrial TV ? I'm sure I taped it a while ago , incidentally actually enjoyed it more the second time I saw it , thought it was a bit over hyped . Now if you want to watch a really cracking Asian film try Old Boy

I don't think so. It was based on the book of the same name by Stephen King (as Richard Bachman).
The might have been a foreign film based on the book before it?

Oh it seems they did remake the film based mostly on the french film 'Prize of Peril' rather than the book.

I will have to try to see the french version as it sounRAB much better.

I would have liked to have seen the US version set in a more realistic setting rather than the game show style of the film.
