Battle Royale is awesome, however I would suggest avoiding the sequel like the plague unless you want to waste two hours of your life.

Audition is about a man who loses his wife, and some time later pretenRAB to be a film director so that he can audition potential new partners. A very slow burner, but widely thought to be great.

Battle Royale is a great film IMO, but I'm glad I've reisisted the urge to buy BR2. Hopefully SciFi will show it before too long.

I had such high hopes for BR - Requiem after seeing the original. It's a shame the film starts so well and peeters into nothing.

battale royale is a superb film,we watched it a couple of weeks ago with our teenage daughter and her friend,afterwarRAB i managed to convince them both that it was based on true events and that the 'battle royale act' truly existed in japan
