Battle of the Reviewers - Vote for your Favourite Reviewer here!

Don't be so modest :) I'll have you know you were a close second - your thread actually got me interested Pink Floyd, and I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to recommendations that aren't my own

I'm gravitating towarRAB Cardboard still, but i do like Urban's, Molecule's and Davey Moore's reviews too since they have their own flavour too..

I had to go with Urban Hatemonger. Anybody that can write a thread that will keep my attention for the un-godly amount of time it takes to read his 100 list. Gets my vote.

I'll have to abstain - I really can't decide. It's between 4ZZZ, Jackhammer, Alfred, Cellartapes, Seltzer and Urban... and me of course ;)

I'm going with Comus .. As I've written before, when I first came to rab, I was hoping to read reviews and discover music. After he posted in my introductionary thread, I checked out his journal and it was exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. In other worRAB - lots of great reviews of awesome music I didn't know existed.

It's still my favourite review journal so he gets my vote!

There are much more deserving nominees than me to be fair. In fact I say bulldog because he can write about many genres and still keep you interested. Best overall writer (not reviewer) is Big3 and wittiest is Urban.

It went on for a good two weeks. It didn't quite generate as much response as I hoped and I had to dig the thread up from 3-4 pages back. Maybe we could have gotten a few more votes if it had been open longer, but oh well. Maybe next time!

My vote goes to Alfred. The kid's got skills when it comes to reviewing albums. Not to mention he always reviews albums that I want to see reviewed. His reviews for He Is Legend's 'I Am Hollywood' and Alexisonfire's self titled album are top-notch. Not to mention the Alfred 25 is the best 'top albums' thread on this forum.

p.s. Alfred, it's time to update the 25... seriously, it's been a while.

Edit: Comus coming in at a very close second.

I went with cardboard. Cat op 25 is probably my favorite review hread on hear (even though that cunt gave up on it!). Urban is a very close second. Whenever I need something new I havent heard, Urban 100 is the place to be. That being said, all the nominees are great. Theres a real passion for the music seen in all these reviews that you don't get to see as much on the blogs and the major music sites.

Holy **** I come back to this forum and I'm nominated for something.

I voted Urban. Seriously, in terms of wit he's the best and he started the whole album list trend that has put something on ever serious reviewer's to-do list: make one of their own.

Look at all the copy-cats out there, in the list department.
