battery problems with 520z

I still have this crappy phone..and although i just bought a kewler one..im trying to get rid of this one..but feel bad giving it to someone when i know good and well the battery is finiky..note ive only had the phone for two months.. any suggestions for how to jiggle it back to health?
 
if i can figure out whats wrong with it, yes i do plan on selling it. this is the dilema...when I connect the phone to the charger, it simply wont charge..Ive jiggled the power cord, the phone, taken the battery out, just about everything I could think of, and it still wont charge...it wont work in my car either, so im suspecting there is an issue with the phone battery and the connectors or something
