About a month ago, the 7 year old battery died in my car so I bought a new one and replaced it. Thought it was normal as it's an old battery. But then on Monday, I went to start the car and all I got was a fast series of clicks and some chugging, then nothing. The car started when we jumped it so I took it to a shop. They said my new battery had a bad cell, so they replaced it. It worked great for two days, and today I got in and tried to start the car only to have the same thing happen again. Aside from the great coincidence that I might have yet another bad battery, does anyone know what could be wrong? All cables look fine, connections are clean.
Should mention that I had the alternator replaced in March as that died while driving one night.
