Batman forever- what crap!

Totally agree. Of course any of the animated movies are better than BF and BAR. Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker is brutal especially if you get the uncut version. I mean there actually a body count.

Hey get a grip guys they are all good fun and do what they intend to do entertain. They are all just good popcorn films no more and no less. But hey that is just my opinion.
Gaz.

Your all giving Joel a hard time when you can see what this man can do "The Lost Boys", " Phonebooth" and "A Time To Kill".

Now i must agree the man played some part in the destruction of the Batman films but it was Warner Brothers who sealed the fate of the franchise.

They couldn't have give two hoots about what the fans wanted at that point and were more concerned with how much they could make out of the merchandise side of things.

A lot of this was down to how bad the sales figures were for the "Batman Returns" merchandise.

Now i must admit that i can't really watch any of the Batman films anymore. Each (apart from B&R) had a good quality to it but each also lacked what the other gave.... if that makes sense????

Hey, I thought Jim Carrey suited the role of The Riddler! He definiteley couldn't play Batman, though-much too humourous a guy for the role!
And Michael Caine as Alfred? His accent will be a bit common, don't you think, compared to the guy who played Alfred in the previous four films (I don't know what his name is)!
And I liked all four Batman movies-Michael Keaton was the best Batman, Val Kilmer was ok, and George Clooney never really suited the role. Let's hope Christian Bale does!
And lay off Joel Schumacher-I thought last year's Phone Booth was great- inadvertently quite funny in places, too!:p

I have to agree that the first two films done by Tim Burton were excellent.

Micheal Keaton definetly the best batman so far.

Jim Carrey did suit the Riddler character very well, even better than Robin Williams who was considered for the role up to the last minute.

Don't forget how dire The George Clooney effort was, the name escapes me now.

Uma Thurman was a great villianess, but Arnie totally ruined it, very hammy acting, he should stick to the terminator films.
