Batman Begins Sequel

Yeah Im not suprised as im not the biggest star trek fan but it could be interesting!
There was a poll of US cinema going audience and the 2 films that most people wanted to see in 2008 were Batman:The Dark Knight and Indy 4!
Im a massive Batman fan and cant wait to see The Joker and Two Face back on the big screen. I just hope its as good as Batman Begins!

Have to jump in here... He gave a brilliant performance but he didn't create the character. The character, insane laugh and all is nearly 70 years old. Even though they reinvented his look to a certain extent in this film: the cut smile, the facepaint (his skin is bleached white in the comics), etc. I'd say he gave the most accurate portrayal of the heart of the character from the comics, to date. (Although it does depend on which era of the comics you're looking at. :))

^ I'm now exiting geekmode...

I think they do, but it seems to be a regular thing over there. I remember reading a lot of times in the past about people in the States buying...an action figure, or filling in a form, or buying a Coke, or whatever and getting a free ticket for some movie. When I was on holiday in America, I bought a book and it came with a movie ticket inside. Totally weird concept for us, I guess because we live in a country where we get virtually nothing for free, lol.

Why do we need Robin when there is already perfectly good sidekick material in the shape of "Lieutenant" Jim Gordon? I thought Gary Oldman was brilliant in the first film, if very underused. I hope the second film readdresses the balance. More Jim Gordon please.

I'm guessing Dent will be in this one, but i suspect they may save TwoFace for a 3rd film... Give the audience some emotional attachment to Havey before having him get turned into TwoFace.

I'm intrigued by Ledger as Joker. I trust Nolan's judgement though. Ledger's an interesting choice. Big name after Brokeback, but still seen as a risk as he's never done this sort of role before. Think he looks the part though.

Think Philip Seymour Hoffman or Bob Hoskins could both work as Penguin. It'd be nice to see a version closer to the comic book than Burtons Penguin.

We'll probably get something after the Wizard World Convention next week.

There will be another viral site in September, and the full theatrical trailer in December, with the movie I am Legend.

I know i should get tickets for IMAX but im just not sure how full it would be where as where i am theres a few good cinemas that have good crowRAB in. Does anyone think they will have any midnight screenings before the release date ala The Simpsons Movie? :p
