Batman Begins Sequel

Neither can i you have reminded me to get my tickets booked i am going to see it in both formats ordinary and IMAX: roll on next month this is going to be awesome, its going to be the film of the year!!!!:):):D

I checked and you have a total of six posts in this thread and the majority of those have been spent upsetting people over the past couple of pages. So, hardly plenty about the film...

I don't like the character either really, she was completely made for 'Begins' to be a different type of love interest. Again the idea of her being a love interest in more than one film is different but seems a tad unnecessary if Holmes has declined the role. Nolan could produce another all knew love interest and just make mention of Rachel Dawes much like Burton did with Vicki Vale in 'Batman Returns' when Bruce mentions that Vicki just couldn't handle the idea of dating a hero.

Maggie Gyllenhaal might look a little bit like Holmes but the principle still stanRAB that recasts can often confuse an audience and to some extend annoy them.

Just saw this tonight and was a little bit worried that fanboy hype had muddied the waters about how good it really was.

But my God what an epic. Ledger is getting plaudits naturally for his excellent performance, but the whole cast was perfect. Bale is an excellent Batman, and Aaron Eckhart plays his tragic role with style and panache.

A masterpiece, really and truly. Shakesperian in its moral depth and level of tragedy.

Worthy of an Oscar for Nolan.

Thanks for adding all the info and links here, really appreciate it, although it does make the waiting unbearable. It's going to be worth it though. I reckon this is going to be the best one yet. It's a shame that it's going to be too damn scary for my son though - he's only 7. He absolutely loved Batman Begins.

a thought has just crossed my mind, once they have remade Batman '89, will Batman Returns be next or will they alter the sequence and jump to Batman Forever ?

Kind of a BIG SPOILER.........read if you want to.........

According to a lot of early reviews on the film.2Face dies before the end.He only lasts around 30 minutes.

The fact it was about 10 minutes longer than normal 'blockbusters' really seems to have affected people.

It should be noted that many classic films are a lot longer than this. And I don't think it dragged at all, unless all you want is explosions...

Where/when did you see it?

And apparently it's the first time since 2002 that The Godfather has been shifted from the IMDb 250 top spot. So a pretty rare feat.

Producer/writer David Goyer has been talking about Batman Begins 2 in an recent interview:

"Question: How about the Batman Begins sequel?
Goyer: [That] is in the works as well. [Director] Chris Nolan is editing The Prestige right now, and as soon as that is finished, we're all talking about that going into much higher gear"

So it might not be long untill we hear some news about the Batman Begins sequel!
