Batman Begins Sequel

Cheers Lukey - I wasn't looking forward to typing that out!:D Whoever wrote that didn't do all their Ledger homework tho - but that's probably me being pedantic.:) (or just the Mail's usual sensational crap reporting!)

Still, it's supposed to be about Batman and most of it is. Not too sure about the "snailing" tho - yuk!! :D

I hope they leave all the scenes in the film - if it was filmed & intended to be in there, they can't take it out just because Heath died. In years to come people won't know that it was a currently "sensitive" scene. It'll just be part of the whole film.

Its seems like its only me posting in this thread but here is some more Batman: The Dark Knight news from Superherohype:

"Batman Movies News and Updates has translated an interview with The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan and producer Charles Roven from Kino.de which included these bits (minor spoilers):

- Batman will go to Hong Kong for some kind of "gangster hunting", but Roven doesn't say why Batman travels to Hong Kong.
- The IMAX preview with I Am Legend is the first five minutes of the film.
- "The whole thing is not 'Joker Begins', because we did not tell how the Joker became what he is," says Nolan. "During these five minutes it is shown how the the small crook becomes the most-dreaded gangster of the city - it is more like "The Rise of the Joker."
- Batman's new mask will have white lenses on the eyes when he turns on the Bat-sonar detection.

The Dark Knight hits theaters on July 18, 2008."

this has to be the worse film I've seen in my entire life. I could not believe I had to endure almost 3 hours of this film. The joker was the only part of the film that provided any entertainment. Batman seemed to put this annoying fake voice on that made me cringe when ever he spoke.

the plot was not a great one either, in fact was there actually a plot I got lost about half way through and then all of a suddon the batman was the baddy and the film ended.

There were about 2 good explosive scenes that I enjoyed

1/10 is my rating

I dislike recasts too, but the fact they need Rachel suggests something has to happen to her in the script.

Maggie Gyllenhaal does look quite like Katie Holmes, it must be said. It's not like they've cast Sarah Michelle Gellar in her role (as rumoured recently).

Thanks for the link. Duly bookmarked. I'll keep trying it, although it does say Sunday.

The Batman movie with Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson as the Joker is on Sky tonight if anyone is interested in watching it again. Sky Mdn Greats 5.50pm (what the heck does the Mdn stand for?).

I think Maggie is a far better choice she is by far a more classy actress than Katie Holmes, but i am going to miss Liam Neeson in this one,i wish that he could have done a cameo at the end after all in begins Ras Al Ghuls body wasnt found.it would have been nice to see him in this,Liam is very busy at the moment in both filming for Richard Eyre in a film called The Other Man with Antonio Banderas and Laura Linney and in the Autumn he is Working with Stephen Speilberg again on a biopic about Abraham Lincoln with him playing the 16th US president opposite Sally Field,Also he has a film which was no 2 at the French box office called Taken, seeing the clips of Taken you can only imagine Ras v the Joker it would have been something eh ?:(

Cheers 2legit. I'll check that out. I had forgotten about the prem tonight.

I got a PS3 to I finally got to watch my Begins BR, lol. The prologue is just gorgeous quality. Looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.

Here is some info about when the trailer for Dark Knight might appear in US cinema from Dark Horizons:

"Not confirmed but "The Dark Knight" is tipped for showing its first trailer as early as "I Am Legend" on December 14th 2007."
