Batman Begins Sequel

Sometimes if you do buy the special DVD of a movie, it comes with a free ticket to the sequel. But they rarely do it for big movies :)

There are always free screenings taking place. You can sign up for those or they'll just hand out tickets on the street. I got to see a few movies that way.

The marketing campaign for this film has been massive and might I add fun. They've done a lot of free give aways so i'm not surprised this was the big prize. Unfortunately for me the New York one is in the State not the city :(

woohoo so excited! Here is some news. They predict the film to make a minimum of 130 million opening weekend :eek:
 
get your results, as amazing asTDK is, it's a film. Real life should come first. thats just my way of thinking tho, others on here may give you different advice.
 
I'm a bit...unsure...about the new title. I would prefer 'Batman' to have been in it someplace.
Saying that, Warner Brothers might change their mind bearing in mind they could realise that people may not connect 'The Dark Knight' to Batman.

Begins was originally going to be called 'The Intimidation Game' I think, before it was changed to 'Batman Intimidation'

I hope they get Bob Hoskins for the Penguin, I just think Philip Seymour Hoffman is too tall!

I've never been bothered about who plays the Joker though...
 
Also incase anyone doesnt know if you go to one of the preview screenings here in the UK on the 23rd youll get a free 3d poster with batman,joker and harvey dent on it.
 
I've come across quite the opposite. Alot of sites saying there's lots of fantastic things happening but they won't give it away, encouraging readers to see it themselves.

I've seen a few people say they'd like to see Williams in the role... Personally i'm not totally sold. I think there's a real danger of it being coming across as "Oh look, its Robin Williams in a Joker outfit". Could be a tough one for him to pull off, but then could also be brilliant of he did manage to nail it.

I like the idea of Lachy Hulme for the reason the WB don't. He's not that well know in US, and i think that'd be a plus. Jude Law - humm... Can do the creepy villanous, not so sure he'd pull off the manic side. Think overall though, Guy Pearce i think would be my choice. Very good actor. Can do manic and can do evil. :)

I wasn't trying to be controversial, I just didn't like the film as much as some people here did. It's a shame we can't post dissenting opinions without fans trying to undermine them.

I don't have a short attention span, either. I've enjoyed longer films. This one just didn't seem balanced. It's hard to explain why, but it felt like it would have been better had it been half an hour shorter, and hence more focussed. (Or else turned into a 3-part or 6-part TV series.)

I suspect it would come across better on a second viewing, with a better prior knowledge of what's going on. I've not read the comics and didn't know, eg, what was going to happen to Harvey and Rachel. I was also expecting plot twists that didn't happen.
