Batman Begins Sequel

Thanks for the review, lots of critics are saying it's 20 mins too long, I'm seeing it on Friday night at the IMAX, Hope my bum doesn't go numb!!!
Thank you also for your kind worRAB Re Heath Ledger :)

I also felt it was too long (But then there was no AC in the theater and I thought I was going to die)
The second time I saw it, I felt differently. I actually didn't want it to end.

I continue to say that Aaron deserves a lot more credit than he's being given. He was phenomenal as both Harvey and Two Face. Actually, I think he was my favorite in the whole film.

Absolutely. Everything about this film was great, not just Heath.

If I were Christian Bale, I'd be a little bitter and disappointed also with the way the press is going on about Heath all the time.

His performance in this film was to the highest caliber and I applaud him for leaving a Batman fan like myself immensely satisfied, but he wouldn't have saved another Batman & Robin affair.

I've seen plenty of bad films with a great lead or supporting actor that was better than the source material ever deserved. They were still in a bad film at the end of the day.

The Dark Knight is a terrific film because all of its elements are brilliantly crafted. It isn't terrific merely because Heath Ledger's performance was. To even insinuate this is nothing more than both biased and unjustified.

The large majority of these reporters don't care about the quality of this film at all. They merely care about what gets the masses talking. Heath Ledger's untimely death being their number one topic of debate to latch on to for this occasion.

Im amazed that the Sun used that fake photo of The Joker in yesterday paper especially as there is an offical photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker available!

Been to see it again today. Enjoyed it more second time around, shame the sound hadn't improved though. A couple of scenes you can barely hear what's being said.
Gary Oldman stood out more this time, absolutely perfect performance from him.

And there's almost always some idiot/s flashing their mobile phone light all over the place. Can't people go a couple of hours without using it?

I went to see a film the other day and the group across from me had a reoccurring conversation going all through it, one kept rustling their popcorn or whatever constantly and then one of them had a coughing fit right at the climax of the film. Alright, maybe the last one can't be avoided but geez. I don't understand the people who go and talk all the way through films. Not only is it selfish but what a waste of money for them.

Anyway, TDK... Some interviews with the cast and Chris Nolan up on IESB:

I'll probably go to the earliest screening that I can too, it's been a long time since I was this excited about a film. I really want to see it in IMAX as well though. Damn there being no IMAX cinemas near me.

I still have the VHS knocking around somewhere. :o I also bought the special edition versions of Batman and Batman Returns - the ones with the Tim Burton commentary.

I was 14 when Batman came out and I saw it on the first day of release.
