I watched the dark knight again last night (at the cinema!!) and noticed something

detective ramirez

two-face doesnt kill her but she knows what he became, how can they keep two-faces crimes secret when Ramirez knows he was planning to hurt Gordons family.
 
Seriously? Even though it would completely undermine the 'reality' Nolan has set up? Given what you have seen in the first 2 films, a man who physically morphs into a human bat monster just wouldn't fit. That is way too sci-fi for Nolan's films.

Even if a new director took over, I hope they honour the way Nolan has set things up and that we don't get some of the more fantasy villains like Manbat, Killer Croc etc who just couldn't exist in the real world. Even a character like Catwoman should be treated as a woman who wears a knocked together costume and forget all the re-birth, nine lives bullshit.

With the way TDK ended, having Harvey suddenly resurface again as Two-Face would make an interesting third film.


Isn't one of the comics (from the era that Nolan/Goyer are following) have a story where Dent re-emerges and Batman isn't considered a villain? - I think Catwoman might be involved in that comic book story too.
 
Why couldn't they keep the secret? I doubt very much Ramirez would open her mouth. What would it gain her? Apart from a load of questions as to how she knows such information. Given she was corrput I would doubt she'd want to draw attention on herself.
 
but he dosn't have to morph into manbat ..... the character dr kirk langstrom would be going deaf (like in his backstory), but i would change it slightly so it wouldn't PHYSICALLY change him, but MENTALLY!!

but i have two lines of potential dialogue to emphasise animosity between the two characters .....
"BRUCE WAYNE: you don't work for me anymore kirk!!
KIRK LANGSTROM: i never worked for YOU, bruce!!!"
 
To be honest it could be true, Nolan always likes to keep things secret, he probably told Eckhart to go out and tell people two-face is dead and not coming back so that its all a suprise.

Then again theres that argument that two-face wouldnt have lived long anyway due to infections etc with his 'injury'
 
In what way? on the extras disc of Batman Begins, the page about Ra's Al Ghul mentions that he has a daughter named Talia.
 
Another thing i was wondering is who is there for Batman to fight in a 3rd film. At the end of batman begins we are told that the scarecrow and half the inmates of arkham are still on the loose but at the end of TDK, Joker is targeted by swat teams, presumably on his way to arkham, two face is dead, lau is dead, the chechen is dead, gambol is dead, maroni is probali dead, falcone is still in arkham fro BB, who is there left, there is no mob.

the emphasis that kirk puts on the "YOU" is important to their future relationship ..... BEING MENTAL!!!! :D
