Bass amp as car audio subwoofer?

I have a peavy microbass 20w bass guitar amp, 4 ohm speaker 9v RMS and I was wondering if I could use it in my car. Like mimicking what a sub woofer would do. ( have the bass run through the amp)
I have a power inverter.

If possible, how would I connect the amp in such a way that the car stereo comes through it, and would it be too much power drawn from the inverter to use regularly?

(120VAC, 60hz, 50w)
