This new series looks really fun. Basketball, break-dancing robots and a great hip-hop atmosphere.

Haven't seen any subs out yet, but watching the raw it reminded me a lot of FLCL with the animation style. Been hearing bad things about it all over, but I think it looks promising.
 
It's being subbed by HONK HONK* (if I'm allowed to say?) so you should find the first episode where you would usually find your subs.

As for me I haven't really looked into this anime much but I'm getting for the sake of it so hopefully it's atleast decent.

Watched the first episode just now and it was alright. Nothing spectacular, except maybe the animation. Lighthearted, funny and some interesting ideas overall. I will keep watching and see what happens from here and hope they can keep up the good work.
 
The whole hip-hop theme blended with anime worked for Afro samurai, but not for Samurai champloo. imo.


wether it will work for this is yet to be seen.
 
I wasnt going to watch it. but everyone in all the forum's I go to were saying good things about it. It was pretty good, had a Gainex feel to it. By the way ChatterBoxZorabie I thought Hip Hop went pretty good with Samurai Champloo, the series wouldnt be as good without it in my opinion.
 
Episode 01-02 were good, at first i was like WTF is this? The setting seemed just too fantastical to be taken seriously. But after the first initial shock, i really started to feel it. The animation is damn good, and the characters seem solid. Seems like there's a backstory going on as well which should be interesting to see it play out.
 
I just finished the first episode, It's different but sometimes that is good, may take a few episodes to get used to it but I'm willing to give it those episodes because it has potential.
 
2nd episode was OK, he has served his year in prison and on coming out has found people playing Bigfoot Street Basketball because of what he did, him and jugs have set up a delivery service to try and earn some cash but what I really want to see is some nice Bigfoot Basketball action.
 
Episode 05 was good, those three make a great team - now i finally understand why it's called "Basquash"...standard Japlish going on. Also now we see a bigger picture of the plot going on.
 
yeah i just love the way the moons looks and how vibrant the colors are. Very relaxed mood yet very thrilling, but seriously.....wtf is Basquash?????
There is such and imminent plot going on i can't wait to see the next episode.
 
it may be a bit diferent from wat we normally watch but i think its good and that im not wasting my time watching, actually im eager to see wat comes next.
 
In my opinion,It's really a good cartoon!
The robots playing basketball is wondful.And girls in this anime are kind of cute,too.
It remanRAB me of Slamdunk.
