Basic, reliable, quad band GSM sought

This will be used in the Northeast US and China, need something that is reliable and decent sound and battery life. No bells and whistles but Bluetooth would be a plus.

Any hints??
 
6103 is not QuadBand. He is looking for phones that have 850/1900 for the US and 900 for China, that means it has to be a quadband phone


SE W600i can be had pretty cheap now.
 
Sorry, wasn't thinking. I thought of that after I posted it...DON"T GET THE NOKIA 6103!

SE W600i is a great phone. Its not basic, but its loud and has very good reception so it will do well for you. Either that or you could just pick up a RAZR cheap. They have pretty good reception as well, and Moto's voice clarity is good.
 
if you're willing to pay slightly more for a new condition/new technology...

W300 is quadband/loud/cheap

and has expandable mamory vs. W600 which doesn't
 
Whoa. Note that "basic" was a requirement? The W810i and Rizr are not basic. And if all he wants is bluetooth there is no point in spending extra money for useless features. Although I know people like to dislike them, I would go for a simple and cheap RAZR or PEBL. No extras, just bluetooth and good voice quality and reception (the PEBL has especially awesome voice quality I hear).
