Hi

a few quick questions. I have transferred all data from my old phone to new phone.

1. how do i ensure all the data is off the phones memory?

2. how do i destroy it? (they are bad for rubbish bins arent they?)
it is not possible to recharge this phone, that is why i cant give it away.

thanks

1. Go to into settings from the menu screen. Highlight master reset and click it to confirm with all. It will ask you for a code, which by default is 12345. If it isn't, it will be the custom number you inserted in it's place.

2. There are some organizations that you can donate your phone to, like ones that deal with domestic violence. As long as a phone can hold a charge, it is handed to someone just in case that person needs to call 911, nothing more. Either that or just sell it and maybe get $10 or something.

thank you. is that "restore to factory settings" ? i have done this, but the phone memory is not 0....

If your phone was bought from a service provider, then there are some files that belong with the firmware. That's normal.
