Basic car audio system?

Hi, im thinking of building a basic car audio system. Nothing crazy to make me go deaf but decent to enjoy. Im working with a 2001 Honda Accord LX. In the past there has been an Pioneer head unit and amp with Infinity kappa speakers. Now its just the stock head unit and the infinity speakers. Im not sure how much im willing to spend but at least under $600 on a new Head unit, amplifier, sub, and new wiring set. Im open to any brand.
