My swing needs some help. You see, I have a good, mechanical swing but I just can't really pull the trigger a lot (meaning a good pitch and I don't swing). I think the couple reasons I struggle is hand-eye coordination and the fear of getting hit and maybe bat speed. Even though I faced a pitcher that throws around 75-80 today (only 14), I still need some help.

How can I improve and practice on hand-eye coordination, getting over fear of getting hit and bat speed?

Note: I've got beaned twice this year and one of them was 70 mph in the hand and it really disrupted my lifestyle for a few days.

Another thing is that it's not that I'm a bad hitter because I can hitter for power well but it's a pretty bad slump right now for me.

One more thing, I can't seem to find a comfortable batting stance that I can settle on. I recently tried an Adam Lind type of stance and it kinda worked but not really. Any other suggestions because I usually like to keep my hands at my shoulders and knees bent? Thank you.
This is serious... Don't waste my time doing really dumb things because it shows me that you're dumb and have nothing better to do. If it's long but informative, I won't mind.

well i'm not a hitting coach but this is what i do for softball. get one of those things that hook on a pole and the ball comes towards you and when you hit it in comes back at you. this helps hand eye coordination a lot. i know it's boring, but hitting off tees help a lot too. as for bat speed i would take a bunch of swings with a doughnut on the bat, or if you don't have a doughnut, swing with two bats. (only in warmups or practice obviously). this will help you get used to heavier bats so when you swing with a lighter one, you can move your hands faster. as for the batting stance, just mess around with different stances in practice and find one that's comfortable for you. you're only 14, you'll find it eventually
