...shots to the right side? Here is more about my stance to help... I have a slightly open stance where I stide into the ball. I also have a rotational type swing I stride and rotate off a stiff from leg and stay back behind the ball and tilt. The knob of the bat leads the way to the ball for me as well. I have a quick bat so dont think I am late...I think it is mechanical or timing.. Also this tends to happen more often on pitches over the center of plate or on the outside corner... Maybe I could use help taking this outside pitch to the right side as well... Thanks in advance.

What you have to do is stand like this. Then do this and this. Make sure you do this when you swing. Keep your elbow like this. Do this and this. Also do this. Make sure your feet are like this. And this.

Hope this helps.

First make sure your feet are shoulder with apart and equal(not one thats way up and the other thats down). Make sure your back foot is really planted in the ground and you wont stride when you swing. Lean back and take your front foot up a little and move it foward a little. Thats called a trigger. When your finish your trigger your heel should be up with a air gap right there. Now heres where if you wana swing or not. Now if you do swing keep your hands close to you. As your swing your legs should be making the A form. your front leg so start to be straighting out and your back leg should be starting to bend in with your back leg heel going up. That heel should look like you squashed a bug. Theres your A form right there. And your belly button should be facing the pitcher when your go through your whole swing. If you get all this down you should stop popping the ball up and be hitting line drives. If your doing this right but your still popping check how your swinging or you can be swinging late or early. Sorry for the long passage.

you are probably opening up when you swing. the part with you hitting cue shots kind of tells me that. make sure you keep that shouler in when you swing, remember, you hit with your hands, not with your shoulders.

i am also 14 and i play baseball. i used to have the same problem. but now i am doing way better. my last game i had a double and a triple. This is what you should try to do: have a slightly closed stance. just a little bit. have your front foot at a 45 degree angle. when the the pitcher come set, lift your bat off your shoulder. when he starts his arm motion load. when you swing go short to the ball and long through it. to stop hitting to right field swing earlier and the closed stance will help with that. and use your legs for power. i hope this helped you. i tried my best! :-)

the only quick fix is try to hit the ball to right field. this gives you a inside out swing. you should hit the ball harder.
