Baseball Cards..and Bicycle spokes...?

I'm an old fart who thinks I may have put a fairly good number of old ball cards on my bike,with a clothespin,,,It does make a nice motor sound!!
Does this strike a memory with anyone out there in R&S land..
I may have spun away a $$$$ fortune

i had to use playing cards, but yeah that and skates that you put on over your shoes and tightened with a key.
