Bars/ lounges/ chill out and socialising spots in central london?

hi beautiful people! im bored and just wondering if there are any hidden gems in central london where i can go alone or with friends and just talk, maybe play snooker/pool and just a friendly fun atmosphere?
i don't like pubs or anywhere with loud music. a place where i could go in the afternoon and evenings and nights just to pass time and chat away etc.
any help would be appreciated.

yeah there are some good pubs in the southeern central and there is a nice steakhouse in certral london you should try it but i would pre book it its always full
