Lately Obama's been making lots of references between himself and Lincoln. Swearing-in with the Lincoln bible, taking the same train route as Lincoln, and making countless links between his future presidency and Lincoln. Will all of this eventually hurt him (expectation)? How can anybody compare him to Lincoln, Kennedy, or FDR? it seems crazy.

the only people who compare him to Lincoln are obama and his friends. the only person obama should be compared to is jimmy carter.

Lincoln was a conservative, pro-military Republican. How is Little Barack anything like him. Oh, I get it, they're both from the same state. That must be it. Comparing himself to Lincoln is his way of getting instant political "cred" with conservatives and in general. He's never done a damn thing, but if he can liken himself to an iconic president, that's supposed to legitimize him automatically. He is kind of like JFK - a whole lot of hype and not really much else behind it. If you think about it, JFK was a mediocre president at best. He really didn't do much. He was and still is all image. Just like Little Barack. He is also like FDR - a huge gov't liberal. We're so screwed!

Obama has only talked the talk. When he walks the walk and is successful, then we will see if he is closer to Lincoln or Bernard Madoff.

The liberals are in a feeding frenzy. Way too high in promises and no substance.

HE is comparing himself to all of the above and you can add to that list Martin Luther King Jr. The media is feeding the whole fantasy too. Actually I think the media and the Democratic party started it and Obama believes it.

I don't think President Lincoln would support abortion, he had
Christian values, but liberal fruits are eaten it up!

It's all about slavery and freeing the slaves. Somehow it all makes sense in a liberal with big ears like Obama. It's nuanced. If you're not a liberal you'll never get it. Get it?
