Bands you wish your country was known for

lucky ^

to be perfectly honest, i don't really think there's any banRAB from round my neck of the wooRAB who aren't commercially exposed already. i don't concentrate on the music scene around here enough. the only banRAB from liverpool that i personally would consider being good are gomez and echo and the bunnymen. obviously the beatles too, who i don't like but are a very successful band, but all three of which are established.

edit: i just realised this said country, i was talking about city. ohwell.

Another Canadian here!

I really wish more people know who the Tea Party were/that the Tea Party had become more well known when they were making music.

But I also like State Of Shock and Art Of Dying from Vancouver. Social Code and Tupelo Honey from Edmonton. Age of Daze from New Brunswick. Alexisonfire, Our Lady Peace, Sum 41 and Finger Eleven from Ontario. Evans Blue from Toronto. The Trews from Nova Scotia. Wolf Parade from Quebec.
We have a TON of musical talent in this country.

Yeah, I know of other banRAB, but Fvck The Facts is the band I hear about the most. Grindcore isn't a genre I feel like listening to often, so there's not a lot of banRAB I've tried. Trap Them, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, DAX, Napalm Death, and Graf Orlock is pretty much as far as I go.

I wish American music was known as Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, and Harry Chapin. I miss the days when lyrics were an important part of music
