Bands you hate that everyone else loves

Ok in that case i hate 65daysofstatic. They make the most boring, pointless music ever and they come across as arsey and pretentious in interviews. And their fans are even worse.

A CTK 411, That's the piece of sh*t I have.

I almost WISH frat guys listened to that shit. I didn't care for OAR and Drab before coming to college, but now I want to kill everyone in those banRAB.

wrote this a few weeks ago.......:soapbox:

"If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.

Local H are far more than a post-grunge band. They have epic prog material like the song What Would You Have Me Do?, the groovetastic stoner rock of Buffalo Trace, the spacey-ballad Hand To Mouth, etc. While their singles may hint at something slightly post-grunge they're far more. In fact in all of their eclecticness I'd say they're more musically collected and accomplished than most tripe that gets talked about on rab.

As for banRAB that seem well cherished that I absolutely hate Rage Against The Machine, The Mars Volta, Between The Buried And Me, At The Drive In, and The Fall Of Troy all come to mind.

I really tried to get into Tom Waits, understood why people liked him, but I just don't at all.

I also do NOT like Def Leppard. My brother is the hugest of fans and he has shoved every single song of theirs down my throat hoping that I will like them, but I just find them meterocre.

Hinder is absolutly TERRIBLE. But I don't think anybody listens to them anymore. Man, I remeraber the days when my highschool was filled with extreme Hinder fans playing their two songs over and over and over and over....

I hate Taylor Swift.

Tried to get into Iron Maiden, 3 years later and I'm still trying.

And I dont like John Cougar Mellencamp. My mom hates me for this.

Looks like you're not alone, but I guess that goes to show you how much individual tastes can diverge. I was blown away the first time I heard Funeral. I listen to it almost daily. 4 of the songs are on my 25 most played.

I'm not as huge a fan of Revolver, so I get where you're coming from. I like the drums in Tomorrow Never Knows, but otherwise it's not that interesting.

The majority of it is i suppose yes but i think its pretty lazy to tar them all with the same brush. As far as DEP are concerned i'd say that they're a metalcore band with mathy riRAB etc.

I gotta go against the anti post rock sentiment here.... post rock rules! The very best thing to have on whilst you drink a few beers, suck up the mood and just be swept up in its moodiness...
