I like Mercury Rev plenty, but this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever read.
Considering Dylan had moved beyond social commentary by the time of Blonde On Blonde, which is predominantly about the feminine mystique( as is quite a lot of his post-motorcycle crash work), that is genuinely ludricous.
Funniest of all, none of those banRAB include the handful of people who have a body of lyrics that compare (IMO Nick Cave,Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Elvis Costello)
AND he gets Neil Tennant( who does have a fantastic body of work) and Martin Fry mixed up.
Epic Fail is Epic.
