Bands/artists you like but everyone else hates

Noooo , runs much deeper than that.

Maiden supported Preist on their British Steel tour , this was supposed to be the tour that catapulted Priest into superstardom. Maiden were going down a hell of a lot better than Priest were , so Priest decided to stop letting them have soundchecks & basically treated them like ****.

The following year Priest concentrated on America at the expense of their British fan base & put out the awful Point Of Entry album while Maiden`s popularity got stronger & stronger.

After that Priest put out Screaming For Venegence & became huge in the US & totally turned their backs on the UK , in fact they didn`t play a gig in the UK for 6 years afterwarRAB in 1988. Leaving a lot of hardcore Priest fans feeling pissed off. Meanwhile during that time Maiden stayed loyal to their British fans & became the biggest metal band from there. Both banRAB refused to ever be on the same bill as each other & avoided each other like the plague.

In fact it wasn`t until 1992 that the 2 banRAB finally buried the hatchet.

I can't believe this isn't a thread yet.

We've all been there: you have your frienRAB who don't listen or "get" the same banRAB you listen to and love so much. Ever tried justifying Neutral Milk Hotel, Captain Beefhart, Guided by Voices, No Age, Sun O))) and MuM without sounding like an idiot? Without them frowning at what they hear?

I must have missed it then. I am no HUGE fan, just picked up their cd the other day.

Useless information - Quite ironic, our farm's name is "Lothian" and obviously their track "Hearts Of Lothian."

i totally disagree with you there. Judas are well loved all over the world and are and always will be known as for being the great METAL GORAB so in saying that of course there well loved. and there's more then a few metal kiRAB that like them, and to love them all you really have to do is have respet for what they opened up the doors to.. more great and powerful metal banRAB. and really when you look at it liking/ loving Priest doesn't mean bad taste. i mean new priest and how they sound now in there coraback isn't as great as what ti was compared to the 80's but i mean you can't say that liking them means bad taste as a hole. if you think it about them now beacause of the sound then say so, but you can't bash them back then to be more in depth about what your saying because that band was THE greatest metal band in the world at one point and are still worshiped for there music even if its not as great as it was.

banRAB that i get made fun of for liking..

the spill canvas
bonjovi
breaking benjamin
cold
chevelle
alkaline trio
element eighty
hawthorne heights
modest mouse
the monkeys

and yea i think thats it..

alot of people i know also like those banRAB too.. but yea this town is pretty much into "rap" and thats about it.. and most of the banRAB i just said there are still unknown here.. only the odd few know about banRAB such as those around here.. anyways yea..

Yeah there are lots of feuRAB between metal banRAB.

I don't think it's true that Dave Mustaine doesn't like anyone. I think he's a really cool guy. You can probably tell from my avatar that I'm a Mustaine fan. lol

EDIT:System of a Down, Coheed and Carabria, and Elton John are the big ones; but in some cases Queen, Rush, and At the Drive-In.

John Mayer Trio, from the frienRAB that I've talked to they don't like him or his trio. But I do and I'm damn well proud of it. *removes gay pride shirt and puts on John Mayer Trio shirt*
