When dancing chacha, I added in some synchopation to the mix every so often, as I do with salsa.
Since that sort of thing wasn't taught by my former instructor, I saw him and his current students giving me looks, as though I was breaking the rules or doing something wrong.
I had since moved on to advanced private lessons where we focus just as much on styling as we do steps. (My former instructor specializes in beginners and anything beyond 1-2-cha-cha-cha wasn't taught).
Just looking for thoughts and opinions on adding stylish syncopation to chacha
