Bait casting Help? Bass Fishing?

I'm a real BEGINNER when it comes to bass fishing, and I'm extremely confused. A lot of folks here have been helping me A LOT with some of the problems I had here, and one of my main concerns right now is getting a baitcasting combo. I only used spinning outfits before, but I'm looking forward to get my first baitcasting outfit. Any suggestions of what might be a good one at a decent price for a beginner? And please recommend what ratio I should get for the reel. Thanks!

Spinning reels have their place but baitcaters are the way to go. Abu Garcia offers great combos as well as Shimano. Other good brands are Daiwa, Quantum, Pflueger, Pinnacle, etc.

A good price on a good beginner's combo should range from 39.99 to 59.99.

I love fishing, but I hate baitcasters. I tried it, and it was a pain in the ass with the backlash, stick with spinners.
