I bailed a friend out yesterday, and she was caught shoplifting at Kohl's and their policy is to prosecute shoplifters-she went to jail, banned from Kohl's and all that. She is wandering what court is going to be like? Just her and the judge? a jury? people from Kohl's going to be there? She lives in Georgia. I hope that's all you need to know. Thanks!!!

It will either be in court, or in juvie court. There will be a judge and a bunch of people watching until their cases are heard. There won't be a jury unless she pleads not guilty and goes to trial. That would be dumb, unless she is innocent.

You should never EVER bail out anyone unless you have sufficient funds to throw money away. Let this be the last time you do this. It is not helping a friend to make it easy for her. Next time (and there probably will be a next time) let her sit in jail.
