Badly done/obvious exposition.

Like, where it's totally obvious, that the explanation is entirely for the benefit of the audience, because the character receiving it would already know.

The worst one I can think of is in Apollo 13, where a Flight Controller is explaining, to Gene Krantz, that they need a burn, because "at this rate, they'll nick the Earth's atmosphere and bounce off into space, and we'll never get them back".

I mean, why would Gene Kranz, the most experienced Flight Director in NASA, need something so obvious, explained to him

'The Core' a shockingly bad movie, has some really terrible exposition.

When Stanley Tucci's character is explaining how the Earth will be burned to a crisp, the assembled Generals and leaders only seem to understand when he uses an aerosol to set fire to a peice of fruit.

Day After Tomorrow when Jack explains climate changes to a room filled with climatologists and they all seem very surprised.
Of course the science of the movie is awful anyway, but still..
