i have a 99 mercury grand marquis and we just got hit with a really bad snow storm i have new snow tires but i got stuck(3times) and when i went to get out at low rpm the driver side rear wheel would not spin and made a odd noise like some thing is still spinning in side the wheel if u give it a lot of gas the tire will break free.
