could you use lets say a bad esn phone (sprint or verizon) to work on crickets network ? I think that you can because when a phone is dubbed "bad esn" it only applies that, that phone cannot be used on the actual intial carrier it was ment for. Why couldnt it work for crickets network ?

i got a treo 600 on it right now.....hmmmm (wasent a bad esn though)

Yes you can use the phone on cricket it doesn't matter if the phone was stolen, replace by the insurance or you just didn't pay your bill anymore. :clapping:

if the esn is flagged on cricket, it will not activate. but i don't think sprint, verizon, etc send that information to cricket.

So you're going out of your way to find a stolen phone? Wow

no a phone with bad esn....this means that it could be caused by a lost phone, person not paying there bill, or stolen ....

what i dont know doesnt hurt me ; )

I have a phone that has a bad ESN, 700W. This is in great shape, only one scratch on the screen. If you are interested let me know, otherwise I am thinking of putting it up on eBay
