Bad coughing, now side pains!!

A few weeks ago I caught a lung infection, which I had to take antibiotics for. During that time I had major coughing issues. I'd cough all the time, hard. I still cough in spurts. But most of the other issues are gone...but since I got that lung infection (finished my antibiotics btw) my right side under my ribs there's this stabbing pain...when I cough, when I move...it hurts bad. It felt a little better yesterday, but now it's bad again. Did I bruise something? Or pulled a muscle? I was coughing pretty hard.

Hard coughing can strain muscles and you feel like you have a cracked rib. Is this the kind of pain you have. If so, only time will heal. You may need to have an x-ray to see if you actually do have a cracked rib, it can happen from coughing. Also, you may have a strained muscle right where it attaches to the ribs.
