I have been working out for the past three months. I am not at the fittness level I'd like to be just yet and I've been on as much as 8 mi. day hikes. I guess what I'm asking is how many miles should I go in a day w/backpack gear for an overnight. I usually go on marked trails but I live an hour and a half from the creeper trail in Damascus, VA. and I'm hoping to do some of it soon. Thanks.
