...advice/changes? My friends and I are doing 2 weeks in Europe March 28-April 12. Our plan is to fly into Berlin then eurorail from Berlin-Prague- Munich- Zurich- Venice- Cinque Terra- Interlaken- Paris- London. Any advice on using the trains? Any suggestions on changes/ very flexible as of now? Any must see/ must do in these cities? Cool bars/pubs/ clubs?

I did that when I was 17.

BUY a copy of EUROPE BY EURAIL and BUY a copy of the Thomas Cook Railroad Timetables and BUY a GUIDE BOOK for EVERY COUNTRY if you can.. or a general purpose one, like Fodor's Europe if nothing else.

BUY a 2 WEEK Youthrail pass.. because if you are going to all of THOSE places, you will be on the TRAIN EVERY NIGHT... Would you say you were going to the U.S. for 2 week and wanted to visit NYC and Washington DC. and MIAMI and CHICAGO and DENVER and DALLAS and the Grand Canyon and LA and San Francisco and Seattle and.. oh yes.. KEY WEST and do it all in 2 WEEKS/... well.. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE PLANNING TO DO IN EUROPE.

just buy the ticket as and when you need it, they're pretty cheap. Or you could get a Euro Rail pass, there are all different kinds depending on the countries you want to go to. Eg if you wanted to go to Scandinavia you would get a Scan Rail pass.

Oh except the UK, the trains are a total rip-off there. IMO you haven't picked very good countries. Scandinavia and Holland are much more fun.
