Back-up my Tungsten T with my Workpad c3

Hi

I use my Tungsten T the most but would want to use my workpad c3 as a backup (I had problems synchronising with Outlook the other day and almost lost all my 5 year-all calendar data !). I am using the Palm desktop version that came with the Tungsten T. How can I save the data from Tungsten T to my workpad c3 knowing that it does not support the new functionalities offered by Tungsten T. Or should I do the reverse? Revert back to the Palm Desktop version of the workpad C3 and somehow synchronize the data between the 2 Palms?

If I'm not mistaken, the PIM databases on the TT are the same as on the older devices.

If you are unable to transfer data by running HotSync, perhaps you could try beaming the data using infrared.
 
I'd forget the whole idea of working with the Workpad since it has different operating system than your T|T and you're bound to end up with incompatible files on both machines. Get an SD card and software like BackupMan and backup your data to the SD card. This is about the most secure way to store you backups, especially if you buy two cards and rotate the backups between them, You can always keep one card in a safe place and then be able to restore to a new Palm if something should happen to your present Palm.
