Back to the Future

Marty: Mom? That you?

Lorraine: There there now, you've been asleep for almost nine hours now.

Marty: Had a nightmare that I was in XXXX.

Lorraine: Well you're safe and sound now, in good old YYYY!

Marty: YYYY??? *Light clicks on*

Classic!:D

Source? Research?

Why are so keen for this to happen? What would be the point of having a new cast and crew? Why do you think the original trilogy worked so well?

IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN

you no that most films these days are remakes.

if theres money to be made then the film WILL happen.

star wars got 3 new films 20 years after the first one came out, with a different cast. was star wars episode 1,2 &3 distaster, it made alot people rich.

so before you get on your high horse with sources and research, remember money is what the industry is all about

Useless bit of trivia.

At the beginning of the movie marty meets the doc at "Twin pine mall", then marty goes back to 1955 he runs over one of peabodys pine trees, upon return to 1985, the mall has changed to "lone pine mall".

Tune in next week for another exciting edition of ......"Gordies useless trivia:D

Even more useless trivia.

Eric Stoltz was the original choice for Marty and even filmed the initial scenes before being replaced shorty after production.

However the Stoltz footage has never been released to this day for some reason.

There's a few stills of it in the boxset extras. Shots of Stoltz & the Doc in the Lone Pine Mall (haha nice one Gordie, thats some great trivia :D ) ....
I watched the trilogy last weekend and was laughing at the 2015 set - some of it's already coming true. They have an "80's" theme bar, and there's a few of them springing up in my area :D

why does it need to be brought back when there are already 3 brilliant films that can just be shown on TV or put the DVD on.

Why cheapen three great films by making a fourth one.

Read the other day that the actor that played Marty's Dad has a dispute over hsi fee about being in the second one. They used old footage from the first one instead and then he sued the studio over it. They settled out of court a day before the trial and this also resulted in some laws being changed

Yeah, that's nice. Shame Universal don't own all the rights to the films and would need Zemeckis and Gale to sign off on it. And since they're strongly for Part III being the end and Universal wouldn't want to sour their relationship with Zemeckis by making it without his involvement, it's NOT going to happen.

When ET gets remade, I'll believe that the same could happen with BTTF. But that will never happen.

And your example of Star Wars sucks as Episode I-III were a certainty because they were prequels envisioned by George Lucas.

*Salutes you from high-horse*
