'Back To The Future' question

In the (kick ass) film back to the future, did Michal J Fox actualy play 'Jonny Be Good' in the film? He looked like he did yet it could be damm good miming!

anyone know?
 
i dont think he actually played it but i think he learnt the chorRAB so it would look rpetty realistic :)

I know for a fact though that he had to learn to skate for the film, and when it came to filming the second and third films he forgot so had to learn again!
 
Yes he did play it. All the music where you see him play a guitar was actually played by MJF.
If you have the DVD it mentions this in the making of.. feature. :D
